Web Design

Hey Blog! During my web design assignment I learned the functionality of what's necessary to make a website and how to have a proper design. When creating the website I had fun choosing images that were related to the page and the contents. I also had fun writing about myself and what information I intended to give out to students and parents. I loved the idea of creating websites and designing as I had fun and something I'm passionate about. Somethings I disliked is how it was sometimes a little challenging on making things standout and editing certain aspect of a page. Daily Use of AI

I use AI tools daily on a basis to enhance and help me throughout my day when it comes to planning and information base. Some ways I used AI tools are such as getting recipes, quick measurements for cooking/baking, adding information to my google calendar and finding specific information such as websites. I also use AI to spellcheck my work if I'm not confident with my work, as far as explaining why my grammar wasn't correct and learning from AI. Some other ways I use AI is for drawing as I ask for color palettes that go well with one another when I draw. I also ask it to generate images in certain poses as drawing references when I do digital art.

ChatGPT in Class

When using ChatGPT in this class I used it solely for the purpose of grammar or looking up websites and compiling them based on credibility and popularity. For example, I would use it to grab credible websites that ended in .gov or .edu as they're the most reliable. I also learned that AI chatbots are very broad unless you find a specific AI chatbot that suffices your specific need, but you have to be very precise in what you ask it to get what you're looking for. I'll address to my students that when using AI chatbots you need to be specific in what you're looking for and when it takes place, because you'll get a broad amount of information that you would manually have to filter out.

AI Tools

AI tools used for productivity is a challenging subject as in retrospect if done correctly you can enhance your productivity but to what extent. When using AI tools you must first evaluate what you're trying to enhance, how you plan to do it, and how you can put it to play. What AI tool helps best for the certain task to be done, and if it's worth your time. I have used AI tools to improve my productivity and as far as using them to do simple code. Once, I used an custom AI tool that I made to check every 10 seconds for a change in a certain application and to notify when there was a chance, allowing me to multitask. As for my teaching job, I think I can make templates for lesson plans that best fit with AI tools and be able to work around them so I can efficiently get lesson plans out for students and other teachers. I also intend on using them, to check for AI use to prevent copyright and to do reverse search on students assingments.
