Teacher Pages

Hey Blog! Teacher pages on school websites around my county have been selective based on how updated the website for that certain school page is. For example one school pages has their faculty and staff page (https://www.leonschools.net/Page/55342) where they show what grade their teachers teach following with a picture. At first glance there's not much information on the teachers and keep their information private if you were to look them up on the website. This can be good for privacy reasons but a down for parents and students trying to know who their teacher is. Regardless they provide teachers based on sections of what they teach rather than their grade.

Tech for Responsibilities

I plan to use technology to accomplish my professional responsibilities more efficiently and effectively through a variety of tools. For example, I would use apps like Class Dojo to manage behavior on my students as it's efficient and easy to use and communicate with students and teachers. Another tool I plan to use is Google Classroom as its helpful to communicate with my students and give feedback on assignments if they have questions or concerns. Another tool I can use is Canva or Procreate for any type of graphic design for worksheets or assignments. These tools are efficient and effective as I can get tasks done fast and still have an impact.

Canvas Assignment 2

I loved used Canvas for our assignment as it was fun creating web pages with my fellow classmates and learn to add work with one another on an online aspect of the website. I also liked how easy it was to create pages and change fonts, styles and setup paragraphs. Somethings I disliked were communication as it was a bit challenging to just use Canvas alone unless we used parenthesis or little notes to let the next person know what we had to do. On the other hand the only other tool I would recommend could be a Google app or Microsoft where communication is easier and connected to the program itself.
